Love this brand. I bought my first Thorlos in the army, and no matter how hard we tried and how many miles we covered, I needed them. That was ten years ago and I'm still wearing about half of it. These over the calf styles definitely go above the calf and down to the knee. Next time I'll be careful and use shorter, boot-high socks. I will happily keep them even though I ordered something bigger than I thought. The brand produces high quality, durable and comfortable socks. I don't know what else to tell you without sounding like I have a fetish. These socks don't pinch the foot too hard, support the arch and wrap around the heel, provide incredible cushioning and won't wear out.
