Comfortable quality socks

These are now my favorite socks, comfortable and durable. They fit snug from the ankle up like true anti-fatigue socks, not as tight as compression socks but snugger than regular socks. They cover the calves, which I like. If you run a lot or just want comfortable socks that are great at regulating your foot temperature, these are great socks.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expandable

Too thick for boots that fit well on the foot.

Not as thick as the Thorlo Thick Padded Military Calf Socks, but still too thick and too tight in the calf area. I really like how the padding feels on my toes and ankles when I'm walking barefoot. So if your boots are too big and you don't have athletic calves, I'll definitely try them. The padding should be large to avoid blisters.

BEST socks!

The most ideal socks for aching feet! Comfortable, durable, and worth every penny, these socks were the best I've found. They stay on your legs and feet and don't move, causing annoying slippage in your shoes or boots. The cushioning is perfect for walking, working, dancing or just lounging. The compression is spot on and very soothing and supportive to my feet. I'm 67 and I LOVE these socks! (And they're made in the USA!)

Best boot socks I've ever had

Best boot socks I've ever had without a doubt. I've tried Wrangler, Carhartt, Realtree, Hanes, Gold Toe, Woolrich, and dozens of other boot socks and they all slip off my feet, requiring me to pull them up every 10 minutes. This is the first sock brand that doesn't bend. All day. They have a lot of padding on the bottom and on the toes (which helps if you have an ingrown toenail, for example). It's amazing how good socks can relieve foot pain after a day on your feet. These socks are worth…

Latex allergy warning ☠️

I have been a regular customer of this product for many years. I'm also allergic to latex. The band at the top that applies pressure and keeps the socks in place often causes dermatological scars. While not listed as part of the product I assume that is why. To alleviate the condition I would fold the top down to reduce contact with the latex contents, which helps "somewhat". Unfortunately, I haven't found any similar products on the market that also work well as an anti-fatigue agent for…

Not better. That's great!

Perfect fit. High quality socks. Enormous comfort. Holds when it goes over the calf and is very well made. Feels incredible. For real. It comes from a Cold War paratrooper who walked the world in a shabby military uniform. Along with boots, socks were the most important tool in our hiking kit. Good socks can improve mediocre boots. I didn't have it then, but I'd like to have it. I ordered a few more of these after buying two different socks from Thorlo. For me there is no better. And they're…

Pros
  • Adjustable leg elastic for support and circulation.

Best socks ever 20 miles blister free odor free

Love this brand. I bought my first Thorlos in the army, and no matter how hard we tried and how many miles we covered, I needed them. That was ten years ago and I'm still wearing about half of it. These over the calf styles definitely go above the calf and down to the knee. Next time I'll be careful and use shorter, boot-high socks. I will happily keep them even though I ordered something bigger than I thought. The brand produces high quality, durable and comfortable socks. I don't know what…

Pros
  • Sports and Recreation
Cons
  • Compatibility

These are basic men's knee length compression stockings. You can see that they are made of durable material. The toe seam is smooth and should not bother diabetics. Some reviewers note that the socks are difficult to put on. Well folks, compression stockings are VERY difficult to put on. If they were nice and free, they wouldn't allow compression. Just get used to it and you will understand how best to put them on the calves. People with circulatory problems or skin lesions on the legs should…

Well padded, breathable and hugs the calves. The durability is average.

Used these socks as 14-18 hour daily use (have 6 pairs, enough to change once a week) work boots on board a ship. However, these socks cushion very well and feel warm; They breathe well and I've never had a problem with sweaty feet. Calf stockings feel like compression stockings that hug and support the top of the calves. I love the feel and the comfort, but not all things are perfect. After just 12 months of use, four pairs are showing the padding flexing (see attached picture where you can…
