Review on πŸ”« SIGVAL Classic Jerky Gun: Easy-Clean Jerky Maker with Aluminum Barrel, 4 Stainless Steel Nozzles & Bag by Mark Callaham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Won first time with a beef jerky gun

I've never made beef jerky but thought I had a bunch of ground beef and I'll give it a try. Holy cow is easy! I used a single wide bore nozzle and it was very easy (double is a bit tricky). The tube holds 1 pound and all I did was mix the chopped venison and spices and pour it onto silicone trays made for dehydrators, pop it in the smoker and within hours I had the perfect jerky. It's also easy to clean with soap and water. This thing is surprisingly strong, if you know how to use a caulking gun you won't have a problem with it. I will say follow the directions! Simply roll up and place the meatballs inside, then press down. Take your time, and I've found that when shooting and reaching the end, all you have to do is simply grab a knife and cut along the edge. I made five different kinds and my friends said it was the best venison they've ever had. Again, the best part is that it's metal rather than plastic.
