
I cook sous vide steaks and chicken all the time. It's very easy to make and I'm surprised a lot of people don't cook like this at home. This is the best way to cook meat at home. I was happy to receive these bags but they don't quite match. It takes some time to figure it out - my instructions weren't included. I was also missing small pockets and a few other things. Luckily I had large and medium bags and a pump. I was able to figure it out - it's not easy to suck out air. You have to squeeze the pump, but in doing so you also block the air outlet. You have to sort by pushing sideways and hoping the suction will hold the bag up and suck the air out. Once I figured it out, it worked fine. I was able to pinch and cook the steak firmly. Works like clockwork, no leaks. Cleaning is a different story as cleaning a bag of steak juice and oil like this is almost impossible. It still smelled like the spices I rubbed it with. I ended up throwing the bag away. I don't know if I can delete the others after I've used them, so I basically have a bunch of disposables. Not exactly inexpensive and that means I'll be back to Ziplocs again soon.
