I have three cats, one of which is an outdoorsy person. Before I got this cat carrier, he never went outside, but sat for quite a long time and looked longingly out of the window. I knew he wasn't the kind of cat that would walk on a leash, so I figured a carrier would be a great way for him to safely enjoy the great outdoors. I was right. At first he was a little worried. I think he thought we were going to the vet. He called me names and insisted he was fine as we walked out the door. Finally, he lay down on the bottom of the stretcher (there's an insert that cushions the bottom a bit) and peered through the mesh. Lots of nets. Several panels. That's great because it means Goose gets plenty of air while we're gone. It also allows him to look around and enjoy the great outdoors in a way only a house cat can... thanks to the security behind a privacy screen. collapse on itself. My chonk has enough room to cool down without feeling claustrophobic and crushed. This is a great carrier whether you just need it for transporting your cat to and from the vet or if you want to take your Chonk on an adventure. .
