WHY ARE THE SPIKES ON BOTH SIDES?

Good concept, but unfortunately needs some revision, eg different belt sizes for different head sizes! Hi? I am very short and have a very small head, but this band is VERY tight! I don't know how someone with a big head would feel comfortable wearing this headband. It's so tight I get a headache minutes after wearing it, and apparently because it cuts off blood flow in my head. The side that comes into contact with the skin must be SMOOTH! The spikes on my skin hurt and leave "nudges"! Worse than the spots on my skin is the fact that it hurts and is very itchy too. While spikes serve to hold the wig in place, they do more than just damage the skin. but he also pulls the hair out of the wig when I try to take it off my head... I do it carefully but he always comes out with hair. Nothing I've worn under wigs has ever pulled hair out of my wigs... except for this hair tie. The hair gets stuck in it like a magnet...again, it works to keep the wig in place, but at what cost? Pain, suffering and "wig fall"? No thank you! I'm hoping someone comes up with something similar but without the spikes on the side that should be on our skin. There's no point in having spikes on both sides! No, I do not recommend this tape. .
