The blades are sharp, but not close to the durability and sharpness of the Olfa brand blades. The metal housing is a great size and quite sturdy. I like it because of its slender size and design.Good luck trying to snap-off these 30 degree blades. You'll either break them off at 90 degrees or you'll need to sacrifice several snaps just to get a clean break. Since the metal housing is quite good, I just refill with 45 degree, made in Japan, 9mm Olfa blades. This combination makes for a great tool.
