Makes building my PC much easier and more accurate.

When this package arrived today and I looked out the window at all the individually sleeved cables I considered opening the package and sending it back to Revain. My problem arose because I installed my system in a CORSAIR iCUE 7000X RGB full-tower ATX case. The original 24-pin motherboard power cable that came with the 16000i PSU did not fit at all. The sleeve covering the capacitors at the end made installation awkward, inconvenient and almost impossible to assemble, especially when I wanted to install a piece of steel to cover the wire terminals. After paying over $600 for a power supply, I wanted the original cables to work. Because the rubber grommet covering the cables running from the back of the case to the front is too small, the original PSU cables were difficult to push through and the grommet then had to be reattached. The power cable also had to be fed in at an angle that cuts off any straight further cables, making the whole connection to the motherboard incredibly cumbersome. everything works. I can't believe how easy it is to bend, shape and tie these cables to match my case design. What was a complex assembly immediately became a lot easier. Also, the Corsair 1600i's power supply is long. Using the included cables meant I had to sacrifice three hard drive bays for the cables to work. Individually sleeved PSU cables easily wrap over the PSU allowing installation of the remaining three drive bays. It takes a bit of work and planning to get this working, but it's possible. The other cables seem to fit better and are easier to install in my case. Also, the two 8-pin motherboard cables are significantly longer, making it much easier to route them to the top of my motherboard. Graphics card cables are so much less rigid that it's much easier, cleaner, and better looking to route them around the motherboard. This purchase was well spent. My only complaint is that a few extra cable splitters would have been more than welcome, especially for the 24-pin motherboard connector. My other complaint is that it's a shame this very expensive power supply didn't come with these cables and that I paid good money for the expensive cables that came with it just to have them in their original housing. It's such a waste. Those of us willing to pay for a premium, top-of-the-line power supply should get the best out of the box, even if it costs a little more initially. This is my first build with individually braided cables. These will be the only cables I will be using in the future.
