Got chisels today. I was very excited. But then I opened them. The first thing I saw upon opening the case was that the chisels had just been dropped into the case, not cast into the appropriate slots. Second, and I knew this would be the case, I expected the tools to not be sharp. I didn't expect them to be in this condition. Three chisels lost their protective plastic covers and were severely scratched. There was some rust on one of the chisels. The third thing I found, and this was the most disappointing, was that the corner of the whetstone was broken off. Not just a small chip, but quite a large chunk. Of all the chisels I looked at, I bought this one for a number of reasons: 1. I liked the price.2. They looked like they were pretty much on par in quality with others I've looked at. I'm a veteran (USNavy) and saw that this company is owned by veterans. I will keep them. I'll sharpen them and hope to get a lot of use out of them. But just wanted to let you know how disappointed I was to find them brand new and dented. Maybe you could work on that.
