Really big cans are good but admittedly they get dirty and cleaning is not an easy task. I started using these inserts to keep the jar clean and they work great! The plastic is durable and fits snugly to the edge. Sometimes after throwing away the bag is still in the jar and can be used again. Or, if it's windy outside, you can tie the roof shut so trash doesn't fly down the street as it's dumped. Works best on jars with square lids, the more rectangular the lid the harder it is to stretch it to fit, but it's usually possible. I really like that it's made out of heavy enough plastic that won't puncture or leak - it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It is worth avoiding deposits at the bottom of the glass.
