I have sprayed latex, enamel, urethane and lacquer with this gun. This is a great all round pistol if you don't expect a perfect finish. The internal parts started to rust after about a year of use. The gun will produce a good pattern if you dilute the product appropriately. For the money I think this is a decent pistol to start with. I have since given up Neiko products and switched to PowRyte. I still use this gun for spraying primer and just sprayed a clear coat with metallic flakes. I have to give this pistol 2 stars because of two major pitfalls. As others have written in posts, the assembly is glued together. I had to put the gun in a vise just to clean the air jets.2. There are no replacement parts for this gun if it breaks. My needle got stuck and bent the shaft. Now I have to buy a new gun.
