Review on DEWALT Grinder 2 Inch Trigger DWE43113 by Tyler Kota

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ergonomically comfortable to use

I went to a large chain store nearby to buy a Dewalt angle grinder and had a model 4012 in mind when I saw how bold it was was, and that awful pit switch, it popped up on the display again. I looked at other models and fell in love with this one. It feels very comfortable in the hand, the switch is very comfortable and well balanced. The retail price was $60 more than the 4012 and $30 more than Revain for the 43113 and they refused to match the price because "Revain uses third parties and you don't know what you're getting". So I pulled out my phone, got up and ordered it in front of the clown, um, clerk who told me this. Received in 2 days. In addition to the grinder, the kit included a quick start guide and a 6mm allen key for the mandrel. One thing I've noticed since it was around 40 degrees in my shed is that the power cord isn't the usual plastic that gets stiff in the cold. It was very flexible and didn't bother me when sanding. A small point, but which indicates the quality of the instrument. Installed a 60 grit type 29 flapper wheel centered precisely in the large guard. A 6mm allen key is very useful for tightening and loosening grinding wheels, no wrench required (or included). Work started on a piece of rusty corner. Sparks flew and the steel grew nice and shiny. Much energy. It's very easy to control and the balance is excellent. It's designed for a Type 27 wheel, uses Type 29 perfectly and safely, and will probably work with Type 1 as well. I'm glad I spent the extra $30 to upgrade to this model over the 4012, which is worth it worth it. To update.
