Freezes well so the PVC pressure tank breaks on holiday. In preparation for the repair I discovered that the brass nipple to the pressure switch had rusted to the point of breaking in the tee. I decided to replace everything and use a tee with a fitting for access in the future. Everything was supplied as described and with the replacement of PEX with PVC the installation was as easy as you would expect. I switched from a 30/50 switch to a 40/60 switch, pressurized the tank to 38psi, turned on the pump and got back to work. It is important to note that this kit does not include a tank shut-off valve, so ensure you can reuse your existing valve or purchase a matching valve at the same time.
