purchased this inverter so that we can have 110v power in our trailer tent when dry camping. Article very well made and HEAVY!. provides clean energy. can fire any object up to its rated power of 300W. NO electrical interference when using electronics (such as radio or computer) comes with a quick power connector (with 3ft tether) for easy removal when not in use. (There must also be a quick connector for the ground terminal). I'd like to mount it remotely, but when gfi works, resetting the settings becomes problematic. It's a shame they don't offer any without GFI or remote cabling so you can use an external power outlet with GFI remote from the device. The device requires a 10 gauge power supply/cable or a direct connection to the battery. at full load, the device draws 35 amperes, please note this when using it. 35 amps will discharge a standard deep cycle battery in 2-3 hours. The device has a fan, but it only turns on when the device is hot or when you are pulling a heavy load. When the fan is off, the device is completely silent. When it comes to power converters, you basically get what you pay for. Quality electricity at a quality price or cheap electricity at a low price.
