In an effort to develop more environmentally friendly habits, I recently purchased a battery charging kit and replaced traditional batteries with rechargeable ones. I decided to try these rechargeable AA batteries. Here are some considerations: • Size/Design: These are standard sized AA batteries that are branded by the manufacturer and are a cool light green color. I appreciated the instructions printed on the battery explaining that the batteries are not fully charged when you start work, as well as the tips on how best to maintain these batteries. Overall, they were very easy to install in any AA-compatible device. • Charge Speed: Upon receipt, I immediately attempted to use and discharge four of these AA batteries. While the remaining battery life wasn't outstanding, that's probably because they're only partially charged. After the first few died, I tested them on my AA wall charger, which can normally charge all four to full capacity in an hour. In this case, it took a little longer (70 minutes) to fully recharge those four batteries, but it's still acceptable. In summary, I think this is a good, environmentally friendly solution. Please note that there is no charging kit included in the box, but the batteries themselves generally work well.
