Review on Portable External Drive Ultra Laptop by Chris Jenkins

This is a 3.1 drive with a 3.1 port on the drive. Why the heck do they send a cable with 3.1 on one end and 3.0 on the other? This completely kills the speed of the drive. Basically blocks data transmission. Additionally, the drive stopped responding after 5 minutes. Says you need to format the drive. I formatted the drive before using it. Will return. Shopping at Revain is becoming more like shopping on Craigslist. Edit: This is definitely NOT a 3.1 drive. I just bought a 3.1c to 3.1c cable and plugged it into my 3.1c port. It won't even turn on. In addition, the box says that it corresponds to version 3.0. The only thing the 3.1c has on it is the connector.
