Review on 🚀 1TB Samsung 980 PRO PCIe NVMe Gen4 Internal M.2 Gaming SSD (MZ-V8P1T0B) by Kyle Costello

**1TB version** Samsung used 3-bit TLC flash in this generation instead of the 2-bit MLC used in the 970 Pro. This still results in excellent read/write IOPS. I did three runs in a row for a quick torture test and the results are pretty close to what was advertised with the exception of IOPS. That's underwhelming compared to Samsung's claims of 1000K versus the 700K it achieved. Aside from the premium price, I'd recommend this to anyone who moves large amounts of data frequently and/or wants the latest and greatest that Samsung has to offer has to offer in the gene field. 4 NVMEs. Also, the 970 Evo Plus is great for those looking for a cheaper but powerful NVME Gen 3. You can't go wrong with either. FYI: OS boot time and responsiveness depend on your PC specs and should be considered when purchasing a high-end product like this.
