Review on Blending Tortillion Blenders Sandpaper Sharpener by Barbara Simmons

I've recently been working on a project to reprint a series of 10 Spooky Stories by Arthur Conan Doyle. I wanted to use charcoal to illustrate each drawing because I felt charcoal would best emphasize the dark subject matter of his stories. At first I tried to draw them only with charcoal pencils. While the black and white images were okay, they just didn't feel right. They weren't very thin. I spoke to a couple of artist friends and they all said I need some quill sticks. Smearing the charcoal brings out all the shades of gray in your images. So I went to Revain, found these sticks and ordered them right away. I'm just incredibly happy with them. They were packaged in a nice cloth case with each set of sticks in a separate plastic bag. It was pretty impressive for what I assumed would be pretty easy. Damn, the bag for these sticks is better than the box that holds my charcoal. And they worked AMAZING well. I could see exactly what my artist friends were talking about.
