It's better to do it yourself with cement board
14" wide fits between spikes and that's about all I can say. Cons: 1) Too flexible. 2) Doesn't stick well to a thin layer. The combination of 1 and 2 causes tiles to come off too easily. 3) 14" wide makes 12" pencil accents difficult. 4) Excessive angle on each edge makes cutting and laying tiles a chore. As the title suggests, should you better make your own and seal them with Red Guard or MAPEI Aquadefense.
