Replaced the original OEM spark plugs with these and they immediately fixed the idle stutter on my 2005 Scion xB (manual transmission). Shifting at low revs has improved significantly. I can release the clutch in 1st gear without stepping on the accelerator. No more driving with the clutch in first gear! According to the NGK website they have a .039 (1.0mm) gap and the Scion xB 04-07 owner's manual lists a .032 gap. I have NOT modified them to include a slightly larger gap than the spec says. This is one of the recommended spark plugs for this vehicle when using the NGK product finder on the website. For that reason I left her alone and was not disappointed with her work. The attached table shows the materials and lifespan of these NGK spark plugs and some others. At around $10, these forks are an incredible value. You won't be disappointed if you install them on the 1st gen Scion xB.
