They are convenient for traveling and can be reused until they start to chip and break. Mine came in a paper envelope, not a bag with a clear plastic side, and I prefer paper! On camping trips I like to throw them in fires to get rid of them and I find paper burns better than transparencies. I love the fact that they are biodegradable so leaving someone behind is no mistake! Surprisingly, the knife cuts very well! I cut the steak on the grill, no problem. Be careful with the fork, the tines aren't the strongest, but they're on par with any good quality plastic cutlery. We will continue to buy and restock!
