Sturdy enough and strong enough for the price. Parts arrived in good condition. It took me about 2 leisurely hours to assemble the cart. The instructions are fully pictorial (like Ikea's) so you have to pay close attention to make sure everything is lined up correctly or you'll have to go back. quality if acceptable. The box looks a bit thin. The shelves are strong enough to hold very heavy equipment like a blender. The towel holder doesn't hold up very well and is made of plastic. I ordered a cherry cart and it was supposed to be in stock, then delayed a month, then another month and another. I ordered in August and canceled the order at the end of November when I received another notification that the car wouldn't be delivered until January <maybe>. I ended up with a black wagon with a brown top. The black finish is ok. The top is some kind of plastic.
