The milk jug was sent in a cardboard box. The box was obviously damaged, the goods were dented in several places. Too bad, because otherwise it's a nice milk jug. I didn't send it back as all the dent is coming from the side of the stitching and I only attached it to the back. It's not exactly heavy duty, but since I only store dog food in it, it works well. The cleaning showed an oily black residue. Everything seems to have been removed with the dish soap I washed it with except for the seal. After cleaning the gasket, simply sew it to smear it over all the black material. I didn't manage to remove everything completely. I haven't tried anything else to clean it, I just hope it's not toxic.
