Have a 2015 JKU. First, the hitch is good, good paintwork, powerful for the price, I think you can't beat it. Good now too bad. First, the instructions are terrible, don't follow the instructions. except for the part that says to tighten the bolts to 110 lb-ft. Follow this part. Kurt's YouTube installation video doesn't tell you that they are NOT using the 2015 JKU and therefore you need to drill the bottom driver's side hole. It also doesn't tell you that the brake booster is interfering, but you can bypass that. If you watch other videos, it is recommended to delete them. The problem is that there are 2 screws to loosen and these are only accessible from the top, so you'll have to remove the grille as well. (not a big deal, but yes, it takes a lot of time). So to install you have to remove the air filter (I didn't have my own because I already had the aftermarket bumper and winch installed which actually makes things easier. I also didn't remove the brake booster which I could get a ratchet with an extension and head 19mm to tighten. You need at least an 8" extension and it's quite difficult but take your time. The driver side bottom hole needs to be drilled larger. I was able to do this with a 1/2" bit, and that was pretty easy but be careful not to damage the brake booster pump, once you've done this you can use fishing wire to thread the bolts through each hole, after that it's a breeze, after that I like it in the In general, I don't like it. I can't pull anything in front, just bought it to carry a basket that can hold a couple of bars and a maximum cooler c, try not that one. It's better to ask a mechanic to install it. shouldn't own JK anyway. lol good luck
