I used to buy all socks that were flimsy and cheap. A sock is a sock, right? It turns out I was wrong. I first found them at Fleet Feet in Scottsdale while trying on new shoes. They gave me a sock to try on and it was incredibly comfortable and thin. It turns out it was Balega. Because this version is very light and breathable yet still fits snugly to the foot, they really reduce any rubbing or irritation you might experience with cheaper/loose socks. They are of course seamless, which is a must for any sock these days. Many beautiful colors to choose from as well as other designs - something for every runner. I definitely wouldn't dry them in the dryer. Like all good running socks, they should be washed in cold water and air dried.
