Both worked when I first started using them but one died a few days later. I used the 5V digital data from the Nano, my bad I thought the Nano had 3.3 volt outputs. The other worked fine after I put a logic level control between the Nano and HC-06. Get some logic level conversions if you use 5V outputs like Nano or Uno.
