I measured my German Shepherd Husky and bought the correct large size. He can't get out through the tiny door. Now it is installed, which is very expensive for the contractor, so it must be left. I was looking at another brand and it was so huge it took up most of the door. I suggest measuring your dog and then cutting out a piece of cardboard the same size as the valve. Attach it to the door and see if it fits your dog. Don't use their size chart. Now I don't have the expense of two dog doors and a contractor to install two dog doors. I really wish the company could help find the right door for this, but it's already there and I doubt it's an option.
