What an ugly mess! My countertops and sink are stained ugly gray everywhere now (it was eggshells) from pouring this loose charcoal into my pantyhose and rinsing them until the water runs clear. Ruined a mug I was using. I had no idea it was going to get so dirty and make such a mess. I hope this review saves someone from the same fate. Still gets 4 stars because the water in my tank is cleaner and brighter after two days in my swamp. I just wish I knew that I would use a GLASS bowl and not a plastic bowl and do it outside with a hose instead of a sink.
