Review on IHome Kitchen Speaker System IPhone by Mathew Hishmeh

Bought for a small bedside table and very satisfied with the product. I use an alarm clock every day and wake up to the radio. The speakers deliver a good sound for their size. The kit comes with an antenna cable for reception, but I don't really need it. My FM reception is noise free and I'm not near a metropolitan area. The USB port on the back is very handy - I use it to charge my phone. The ipod charger works with my little old model. (4 small plastic iPod adapters included) I keep the remote on my desk across the room and use it almost every day to listen to the radio while I work. The remote is small and light, with small buttons - about 1 1/2 by 3 1/2 - and a handy magnet on the back can be used to store the remote on the side of the unit. I put mine on the metal base of a table lamp to keep it from falling on my desk. The alarm clock is easy to set up. The device has a backup battery in case of a power failure. The docking station door opens with a push on the front and slides neatly into place. The display has 3 brightness levels, but is still a bit bright at night. This device is designed for the kitchen, so I won't let any star hold me back. The time display isn't big enough to be seen in a large room, but this device was designed to be placed on a counter and used at close range. Overall very happy with all features and would buy again.
