I have a very small friend. She is 20 but about the height of a 12 year old. She's about 5 feet and maybe 105 pounds. very small frame. We bought it for ice skating. The knee pads are a bit tight but overall they fit great and are easy to put on. The pink hard plastic has small holes with shiny silver plates underneath. Another friend of ours thought it was glitter but it wasn't. I hate glitter and it definitely looks like holographic leaves but they add a shiny effect to small breathing holes. The elbow pads are perfect for their small hands. The wrist guards are different from others I have seen and used before. They are usually all fabric with a contoured strip of plastic on the side of the palm and possibly another on the back of the wrist. It looks like a big round figure in the palm of your hand. Although it is written very deeply. It almost feels like a piece of hard plastic smashing into your arm when you fall. Though she hasn't fallen in yet. We tapped on it and hit it pretty hard. They feel stiff enough and the padding is decent for a very short person. They're cute and appear to be solidly functional. I recommend with reservations about the shape of the palm.
