Review on πŸ”Š Premium Bose Smart Soundbar 700 with Alexa Voice Control and Bluetooth Connectivity, in Black by James Wiley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Must play with the settings! cinema sound! TERRIFIC!

So let's go: The Bose Soundbar 700 with the 700 base unit has been around for about a week now. I wanted to wait to give an honest review. I've never had a soundbar, but my TV was hooked up to a Bose Wave radio. It sounded great but the radio started acting weird so I spent a couple of weeks looking for soundbars and settled on these. I wanted to get 300 but waited for 700 with Alexa! I love Alex! I paid a soundbar for $1498! It's a lot of money for me, but I love the quality. The 700 doesn't have Dolby Atmos. do we need it Not me. I just want something to sound great. Spring. That sounds FANTASTIC! At first I wasn't very impressed. Is it because I already have my TV connected to Bose? I was not sure. I watched TV. Spring. There is nothing special. I heard music. WOW! Sounds really good! I saw the movie (Star Wars) which was great. Nothing blew my mind. It cost me $1500! Then I started playing with the Bose Music app. I went to "Settings" and started playing with the settings. There are 3 main settings: bass, treble and center channel. Depending on your personal preference, you can tune this soundbar to sound like crap or like an amazing movie theater! PLAY WITH THE SETTINGS TO MAKE IT SOUND THE WAY YOU WANT IT! My living room settings: Bass: 80, Treble: 0, Center: 20 This is what made Star Wars move away from Mech! to "Holy Sh#@" (sorry for the language, but I wanted to emphasize it) The sound of a cinema in my living room. THAT'S WHAT I WANTED! After being a bit disappointed at first, I played around with the settings and am simply blown away by the sound quality. I don't know how to describe it. The audio is loud and very clear without being loud! The bass is present and fills the whole room without even noticing its presence. This is pure loud sound in a very pleasing form. It's hard to explain, you have to experience it! It was very easy to set up! I don't know where the complaints are coming from. The soundbar updates automatically as soon as I set up WiFi. The remote connects with no problems! Alexa, as always, is absolutely AMAZING. You can't control your TV with Alexa. I'm a little disappointed with that. But maybe that will be fixed in future updates. You can control the volume of what you're watching with Alexa. Once the bass module is connected, it instantly syncs to the soundbar via the app! No problem. About the sound module. Well I hated spending $700 on bass. $700 is a lot of money! But I'm glad I did. It offers immersive sound. It's almost gone, but it's the REAL STAR of the show. I plugged and unplugged it a few times to hear the difference. And I have to say this is a MUST if you're looking for "Cinema Sound" like me. It's a lot of money, but taking out a loan is worth it. It makes the difference between "okay" and "oh my god, what's up?" No Dolby atmosphere is good. Once you hear this, you don't care! Excellent product! Verdict: - If you just watch TV, just buy cheap like Vizio at Walmart. clean and noisy but not noisy (hard to explain). THIS ONE! I don't work for Bose. ;o) Update 10/29/18: Bose updated the software and they must have changed some bass settings. I had to lower it from 80 to 60. I was even able to lower it to 50! It shakes the room even more than before! Love it!
