This welding tool is a complete waste of money .I tried using this FOR welding some automotive parts, and it just didn't work. The torch wouldn`t stay lit, and even when it did, it wasn't powerful enough to melt the metal properly. The only good thing about this tool was that it was lightweight, but that's not enough to justify its poor performance. Save your money and invest in a better welding tool for automotive use..
