Overall this scooter is stable, reliable and has a smooth ride. The board is wide enough for little feet. Adjusting the steering wheel is very easy - there's a clip that opens, then you push a metal button on the side to raise or lower the steering wheel. The steering wheel is covered with a grippy material (silicone?) that doesn't slip. The rear brake works well. The board still wobbles a bit, but it doesn't roll over like a two-wheeled scooter. Therefore, he is good at teaching balance to young or new students. The lights on the pole are separate from the lights on the board. That means more batteries (3 AAA each, so 6 total), but it also means you can turn them on and off independently. This is useful, for example, when the light on the blackboard is distracting to a new student. Deployment should be easy, with the red button below. But it's a bit tight. I actually had to press it hard and then wiggle the steering wheel/steering wheel to open it. Then I had to wiggle it to keep it upright. Hope it gets easier with use. (Folding wasn't a problem for some reason) It's easy to store since it's folded. And you can easily take it to the park or to a play date. It seems lighter than an umbrella stroller.
