The right earpiece is the leader and phone conversations are only feasible from it; the left earpiece switches off while you are on a call (although both work on another brand of Bose headphones; maybe it's in the setup). Excellent headphones, extremely comfortable silicone inserts, ears do not get fatigued at all. If you only use the right earpiece of your headphones to listen to music, the sound of the complete stream will continue to play. However, when you put in the left earpiece, the sound will transform to stereo in a way that is immediately noticeable. One of the potential drawbacks is that they lose their charge quite rapidly; however, given that these are headphones for sports and one does not typically play sports for 10 hours at a time, this should not be regarded as a drawback.
