I read an article that recommended this type of pillow as the best way to avoid bruises. The particular product they suggested cost three times as much as this one, so I decided to try it as a less expensive alternative. I'm a little shocked but it actually works great. Probably 90% less pain from longer sitting at the computer. This makes it harder to change position, but the whole point is to make the person unnecessarily comfortable, so there's no point. I will update this review if it doesn't last long but at the time of writing I feel this is money well spent and am considering buying a few as gifts. I will note that I have not tried it as a water pillow and cannot comment on how well it works.
