Read carefully it works. You may need to update your phone's firmware. I used Polycom vvx501. You can update the firmware by connecting 1 to the phone's IP address via your computer's browser. Or 2. Set up the phone to go to polycom. The first way is much better. NOTE: Plugging into a computer's USB port does not help. This is not a USB submersible or upgradeable part. It may not even blink blue. This does not mean that the bad blur indicator will light up if it is properly connected to the phone's USB port and the wife ID is set. This device is designed to connect with the phone, the phone will recognize it. I will scan the Wi-Fi networks and only enter the Wi-Fi password. Very easy installation. You will have problems if you don't know how to use the phone menu. Hope that helps.
