.where does it end well the third time was a magic for me I ordered this turntable three times. The first two had a terrible wobble in the platter movement that distorted the sound, and a ticking motor noise that was loud enough to drown out the music at lower volumes. This can be caused by poor quality control, poor packaging, or a combination of both. All three were clearly inadequately packaged for a turntable that was shipped. A few pieces of styrofoam won't help. Now that I have a working player I really like it. It sounds good for what it is, meaning it's not expensive audiophile gear and is loud enough for its size. I've had complaints from kids across the house about Miles Davis and his horn. One star off for the hassle on my part, including a pending refund and double listing the purchase price, but the machine itself, if you can get a working one, is pretty good for what you pay.
