I rarely write product reviews, but this coat won me over! Our Doberman, Tebow, has a notoriously deep chest and it's impossible to buy a coat for him so we ordered this coat thinking it might fit. We ordered XL and if anything we could size down and it would still fit him. It is made from a durable, waterproof tarpaulin with an insulated lining. Around a strong cord with folds to allow the dog to walk and move easily. The front chest closure for this size has two straps and buckles that are very well made. Under his chest there is an elastic velcro, very wide, and the closure feels very secure. I will also order in brown! It cost $33 and I just love the quality! October 2019. Tebow has had the purple and brown fur for 2 years now and they are still relevant. I replaced the brown velcro with industrial velcro because it was worn out. The rest of the coat is in excellent condition. They train properly here in Pennsylvania from October to May because Tebow's coat is thin and suffers badly from the cold. We received a chic new brown plaid coat today and couldn't help but post an update with photos. Seriously, these Derby Originals dog coats are awesome! I can't recommend them enough!
