Delphi Roady XT in my 99 4Runner kept losing signal i. H. Under trees, buildings, etc. Called Sirius XM Support. A man wanted to sell me a new radio. Other solutions were not offered. Found after a long search - the solution to signal loss! I believe either my old antenna has failed (perhaps from exposure to the elements) or the XM satellites are not transmitting as well as they used to and they have realized that they need to upgrade/improve their antennas by adding this new one to offer. At the same time, I bought a new SureConnect connector to replace the old one (it routes the signal to the main external radio antenna). SureConnect costs less than $5! All tight for $20! Now it never loses signal. Trees, bridges, buildings, etc. have absolutely no negative effects. Works perfect!
