Cannot be disassembled as some people said (I bought for the original lamp that needs to be rewired) When I tried to to disassemble it at the switch, the wires go straight through (they aren't screwed) so I couldn't disconnect the switch from the wires on one side to get into my light, disconnect the light part to get into mine Light to fall but it doesn't fall apart either I was disappointed but this is well made product just not fit for my purpose.
