They go really well with the hobo bags I made for my wedding. Two things. They aren't as thick as I expected but that wasn't a problem, they were still strong enough to hold backpacks with a slight flex. My only real concern with small hands is that they aren't 100% smooth so there's a chance someone could pick up a splinter. * A piece of sandpaper will fix this. It was too hot that day and we never set them on fire. They come in a nice carry case, so they can be used multiple times or just tossed into the fire. The length was perfect.
