I have bought this 4 times already and will be buying more. However, it is more of a shampoo to add color if you leave it on your hair and if you use it frequently than a brass corrector. A little goes a very, very LONG WAY. I use it to enhance the purple hair I got during quarantine while growing back my natural color which used to be a dirty copper blonde. This will make the transition of the roots smoother. The first time I used it, it was weird. He didn't foam at all. I washed it off and shampooed again. He foamed better. I'm not sure but I believe it removed built up dirt from my hair from other shampoos/conditioners/other hair residue because along with the gorgeously revitalized purple hair it was really soft and silky despite my hair parting and bottoms destroyed because of my quarantine boredom. After use, the smell is clean and not heavy, but if you don't like wood oil, don't buy it. My scalp also feels very clean after using this kit. I leave it on for at least 5-8 minutes and then use the conditioner and leave it on for the same amount of time and my hair turns VERY purple. It fades significantly over time if I'm not using this set. The depth of color is wonderful! I will continue to purchase this set as my roots grow back to intensify the silver and gray and hopefully crush the messy blonde/mud gray hair that I know is growing. I also bought this branded keratin kit because I was impressed with the value and quality of this purple shampoo. I use keratin with 4 shampoos or more depending on how much purple I want and then use that to boost the purple. I've used other shampoos between washes with lilac but every time I use lilac it foams weirdly if I've used other shampoos too many times like it's removing dirt again. I love this remedy because it is strong. and leaves my hair in great condition.
