Very good radio set. They have everything you need including the standard 22 stations (just remember you need a license to speak 15-22). They have 38 CTCSS and 83 DCS privacy codes (that's the standard I think) and when I used them hiking/camping they worked great. We were about a mile apart and still had excellent signal (there were no buildings between us, just trees). I also had a Midland kit with me and I didn't notice any difference in sound quality and the range is no better than either brand. You get everything you need right out of the box. Two radios, two sets of three AA batteries. Standard USB charger (with box to plug into the wall) with split micro USB cables so you can charge both walkie-talkies at the same time. You also get two easy-to-release straps and, of course, an instruction manual. The walkie-talkie itself, with batteries, strap and all, weighed 5.4 ounces, so not bad at all. (My Midland weighs just over 7 ounces and 7.5 ounces when using standard batteries instead of a Midland battery pack). For long hikes, weight matters. The belt clip is detachable. The only issue I had, as mentioned in the video, was that the battery cover on one of the walkie-talkies initially got stuck. I had to use a butter knife to take it off, but after taking it off a few times it came loose and now I have no problem turning it on and off. I really like that the batteries are charged using a standard micro-USB cable. I am very tired of special charging cables and charging stations. I like having just one cable that does it all, so standardization is always a good thing. Oh, the instructions say "pull" to speak, but I'm pretty sure they meant "push" to speak. You can't press the talk button, so push, not pull. Overall I'm very impressed. I was looking for a cheap headset because there was a chance of losing a radio or two on this recent trip and figured it would be better to lose the cheap headset and leave my Midlands. But it turns out they're just as good with the same features for half the price.
