Not bad, Not great - my new review

This tool only works if there is a little bit of space under the bridge of the staples you are trying to remove. (see photo 2). If the staple is tightly inserted into wood (such as photo 1) the pointed end is too large (thick) to get under it without a lot of digging. IF you can get the point under the staple bridge, it works great and is almost effortless. If the staples are tightly inserted, you will struggle mightily to get it under the staple bridge. There are other reviews here which mention this issue. However, the cost of the tool is not great, so I will be keeping it.

I''m currently reupholstering some chairs. This is the tool I need to remove the staples. It''s doing a decent job, except some of the staples are extremely hard to get out due to the tip of the staple remover not being sharp enough to get under. It''s not a sharp flat tip, but it is rounded which is why I docked a star off. Otherwise it has done its job. Handle is sturdy, not cushioned which is fine for me.
