Continuous dehumidification required

I bought this because it has a continuous condensate drain pump that works great. But the dryer often shuts off the compressor before the setpoint is reached. I've tried changing the settings and even putting it in continuous mode, but it still takes frequent pauses. After shutting down, it runs erratically for much more than three minutes between intervals with the compressor off for no apparent reason while the humidity builds and builds up. It was a major headache trying to figure out what was wrong and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
