Good inexpensive towels, wash first (Read care tips)

I bought these because I needed wholesale microfiber towels for car care. If the towel ever touches the ground in my world, it can never touch the car again, so they have to be available. At the time of purchase, these towels cost about $0.75 each. They're great, but I won't cry if I drop one of them. These towels arrived clean (look, feel, smell) but contained a small amount of detergent residue from the manufacturing process so I would recommend washing them before use. In addition, the microfiber felt compacted as it was packaged and stored folded. After washing, the fibers dissolved as expected. The labels are easy to detach by hand and the towels have soft stitching around the edges. Like many microfiber towels, both sides are soft, but one side has a slightly longer pile. Microfiber care tips for car care professionals: • Pre-wash heavily soiled microfiber towels to remove most of the cleaner. • Wash towels that have been used with abrasives (eg, paste, polish) separately from other towels. • Wash microfiber items separately - other types of fabric may clump and/or get stuck in the microfiber. • Wash microfiber items with liquid detergent without fragrances or softeners. Look for allergy/skin sensitive detergents, they tend to have these properties. • Dry microfiber items at very low temperature or without. I usually take them out of the dryer when they're barely damp. Too high a temperature destroys the microfibers.
