Attention buyers - not recommended for car care

I bought it because of the rating and the price. Other reviews recommend washing before first use, highly recommended. Of the 36 in the pack, 6 had some kind of soil stuck in the towel, see photos. I don't know what it is, but it's hard as sand and definitely something that can scratch a car's paintwork. Those messes didn't come out in the wash, so these towels are for the rags in my garage.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • boring packaging

Decreased quality, thin, not the same

I used to use microfibers for cleaning the inside of my house and car. I have bought several packs and some have already 5, even ten years ago. Unfortunately, as with any good product, the quality has dropped significantly over the years and they wear out and fall apart after a couple of washes. They also leave a lot of fluff and are very thin at 350 g/m². I would be surprised if they lasted a month with a light cleaning. I cannot recommend these and will look for another brand.

Pros
  • Good marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for the elderly

Heavy Duty Microfiber Cloths

These were the same quality microfiber cloths that I bought a few years ago (same brand and GSM). They hold up well, aren't flimsy and absorb well. GSM is much better quality than finer microfiber. I didn't buy them for car detailing as I think you need really fluffy microfiber for that. These are great for cleaning your home or car interior. I wet them and wring out the water until the cloth is only slightly damp. Ideal for streak-free cleaning of stainless steel, laminate, granite, etc. I…

The best on the market for the money.

The best car towel I have ever bought. I've tried them all. Best absorb, thicker, so absorb more, but replace after a year, they start shedding lint. Rules for washing towels, listen up! If you have a dirty car, wash off excess dirt in the car wash and then wash it. Wash with an extra rinse to remove all soap. Do not mix depilatory towels with regular and dry towels, wax chemicals and polishes mix and leave a film on the towels that leaves smudge marks, especially on windows. Do not use fabric…

Good inexpensive towels, wash first (Read care tips)

I bought these because I needed wholesale microfiber towels for car care. If the towel ever touches the ground in my world, it can never touch the car again, so they have to be available. At the time of purchase, these towels cost about $0.75 each. They're great, but I won't cry if I drop one of them. These towels arrived clean (look, feel, smell) but contained a small amount of detergent residue from the manufacturing process so I would recommend washing them before use. In addition, the…

Great microfiber towels (just wash them when you get them)

I'm a bit picky about microfiber towels, I use them to clean the sink, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, kitchens etc. every day. The 350gsm is fluffy enough to really "grip" as you drive it over surfaces, allowing it to pick up and "scratch" anything without damaging it. I only use them with water and they can remove pretty much anything. With a weight of 350 g/m² they are not so heavy and fluffy that they take forever to dry. I use at least 3 a day and hang them damp on the side of the laundry…

Not bad, with reservations.

Very good microfibre cloths. They don't grab and hold everything they touch like super cheap towels - you can shake the dirt out of them under the running water. This is what makes a good microfiber towel. The cheap ones never fail. I bought these towels to try Harry Dean's car wash method. You soak 15-20 wipes in the leave-in solution and fill a spray bottle, then drizzle the spray over the panel and gently and gently wipe with dampened microfiber towels, using about one towel per panel. I was
