****UPDATE**** Avalon contacted me and was very surprised what happened to the cooler. Karissa was very helpful, Avalon sent me a replacement cooler, they also helped me with some extra filters. They really took the time to move forward and provide great service. No product is always perfect, what matters is how the company supports its products and helps the customer in case of a problem. Avalon really did it! Great job Carissa, Tyler and the whole Avalon team! *** UPDATE *** Following the manufacturer's recommendations, I contacted Revain for a replacement unit. The replacement device came, I opened the box and it was the wrong device. Revain has sent a model that requires a bottle. I scheduled the return of the wrong device. After publishing my review, the manufacturer contacted me again and asked to be contacted. That's how I'm gonna do it. The device looked good and was easy to install. It seems to have all the necessary features, hot, cold, filter, even self-cleaning. I installed this on a Friday, everything looked fine, arrived Monday morning and the unit was leaking most of the weekend. I talk the most because our mechanic came on Sunday and closed the little valve to stop the leak. I move the device to the sink and plug it back in to see if it's one of the quick connects. Had not. After a few minutes I tried using the hot water side and water started pouring out the bottom of the unit. I looked under the top cap to see if I noticed any leaks. Inside the device was filled with water. See photo. According to the instructions that came with the device, I contacted the manufacturer. I asked if I could exchange the device. I was told I would have to return it through Revain as I bought it through Revain. So I'm returning the block.
