A packaging error damaged 2 of my Shai Hulud cards. Some cards don't make sense in the context of the lore. You can tell the people who developed it never read the books, but I digress. picky that Su-Su-Suk! This is the cry of an Arrakeen water seller, not the actual name of the person who guarantees the leader's mark (a character with this nickname was never mentioned as such in the book and only appeared in the CCG as Nejhre and was actually a Harkonnen agent) and there is a war going on for more important space guild leaders who could play that role. In fact, other than the guild rep, none of the standoff guild characters are actually guild characters. The Tueks are smugglers, and Master Bute is another water seller from the polar regions. I can forgive all of this because it's just a board game. Many characters are misplaced or have no connection to the factions they belong to. The game itself is solid. The only reason it got 4 stars is because of the crippled worm maps. To be honest, with a little tweaking, you could play this game 1:1 with almost any IP and emerge victorious. If you stayed true to the source material. just let it slide This is funny. Just disappointing lack of respect for the original source. I had to look up some characters to verify who they were and they were wrong. That means GF9 can't even do a proper wiki search.
