Seriously disappointed in this product. When you buy it from certain retailers, Bivy allows them to link the device to a company account. The satellite phone store is closed on weekends and the support is terrible. What does that mean? - I cannot activate the device. - I cannot configure the device. - I can't change the settings. To do anything, you need to contact the company that sold you the device. So you don't really own it, your account is banned and any support must go through this company. I contacted Bivy and they said that's how they work. I said that's not the case if you buy it from REI and they said maybe not all retailers. So there's kind of a kickback program going on with Bivy and some of their retailers. I ended up returning the device and will not be supporting the company. You can happily get out of business.
